Will enabling tracking drain my battery?

The Courier Expert app uses highly optimised tracking software, specially designed for battery optimisation.

The app will not continuously request location updates, only when significant movements are made.

Typically, the app will not access location data more than 4 times an hour while the app Is closed. However while you're allocated to a job that's currently in progress, tracking updates will be more regular, so the customer/admin can keep track of your ETA.

Once the job has been delivered, location update intervals will revert back to It's original configuration.

If I'm not on a job, why do you need to access location data?

Jobs alerts use your location data to tailor to your current location, so you receive relevant job alerts.

For example, If you're based In Northampton, but you're currently In Manchester, you will receive alerts for available work near Manchester automatically.
