Release Notes: Latest Application Update

This update includes a series of improvements and corrections aimed at enhancing your experience. Detailed below are the key enhancements included in this release:

• Error Reporting Enhancements: To improve our response times to issues, detailed error information is now automatically transmitted to our support team in the event of an application error.

• Job List Enhancements: The job list interface now includes a new indicator for jobs based on proximity, enabling users to easily identify nearby opportunities.        
• Cyrillic Characters: Issues related to the tracking functionalities caused by Cyrillic characters in device names have been resolved.

• Refinements to Job Visibility: Jobs that are filtered out will now be accurately hidden from the job list, ensuring that only relevant job opportunities are displayed.

• Adjustments to Job Timing Display: Only jobs that have surpassed their collection time will now be displayed as in progress, ensuring the accuracy of the job list.        

• Visibility Enhancements:
         
• Allocated jobs will now display the associated rate directly within the job list for improved transparency.

• The option to report a delay has been made available only after a job has been collected, to maintain relevance to the task at hand.

 • Communication options on the job details page will be hidden for jobs that are fully covered.          
                
• Correction of Address Listing Anomaly: A previously identified issue causing incorrect address listings has been corrected. The system now accurately identifies and displays single drop addresses.

  • Prevention of Duplicate Submissions: Measures have been implemented to prevent the possibility of duplicate submissions for proof of delivery, enhancing operational efficiency.

• Persistence of Text Zoom Settings: User preferences for text size will now be retained across sessions, improving readability and user comfort.

• Optimisation of Map Current Location Loading Times: The initial loading time for finding your current position on a map has been significantly reduced, addressing misconceptions related to job fetch refresh times.

• Streamlining of Error Reporting Dialogues: Non-critical errors that do not impact the user experience will no longer trigger crash report dialogues, reducing interruptions during application use. If you find an error, or you're having issues with the app, please report a bug.

• Photo Editing for Android Devices: Users on Android platforms can now edit photos within the application, offering greater flexibility in managing job-related imagery.

 • Mileage Indicator: A new feature displaying the distance from jobs on the job list has been added, aiding drivers in planning their routes more effectively.

• Enhanced Job Sorting Options: The introduction of a "filter by closest" option and a proximity threshold for job sorting allows for a more efficient organisation of job opportunities, distinguishing between those within and beyond a specified proximity threshold.
